Australian Issuance Fee

For Mail-In Applications

The current conversion for the O visa issuance fee is $144.00 AUD per person.

The rates are also displayed here in the “Other Fees” section, which can be found by scrolling to the middle of the web page.

The issuance fee must be included in the mail-in application using one of the following methods:

● Money Order

● Bank Check

● Cashier Check

Please follow the instructions given by the embassy/consulate regarding these forms of payment:

● Do not calculate your own exchange rate. Do not round the amount up or down. The accepted exchange rates are displayed here in the “Other Fees” section below.

● Check ALL information is correct before including it in your mail-in application, incorrect spelling or amounts will be rejected.

● The embassy does not accept US Dollar checks, Personal or Company checks.

● Checks must be payable to “U.S. Consulate General” or “Department of State” NO variations.

● Alterations, incorrect or multiple checks cannot be processed. If you are applying in a group, please include one form of payment per person.
